Technology Introduction days.
All mentoring locations will open their doors to their local communities for one Sunday in Dec and one in June. ( Starts June 2019 ). We all want to share what our students are doing while they are with us.
The projects in almost every case are directed towards local needs and issues. For example one recently suggested project was to design an easy to use, long lasting and cheap way for special meeds children to control a computer game. This project will actually be one of the suggested projects for a national summer school event.
The idea of opening all of the centers is also to attract more support for the mentoring, possibility financial, possibility the opportunity for the students to visit a local ( to the center ) facility or manufacturing plant where they can see STEAM related subjects in action.
